EngBuilt is a dynamic business entity established under the MUBAS Commercial Company Limited (MCC) to drive Malawi’s transformation into a middle-income economy, aligned with the national MW2063 agenda. Leveraging the expertise of professionals from the Faculties of Engineering and Built Environment at the Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences (MUBAS), EngBuilt provides high-quality consulting and contracting services.

MUBAS Media House is a dynamic initiative established to enhance media innovation, training, and production in Malawi. It consists of four key components: a radio and television station, a production house, equipment rental services, and specialized short-term training programs for the media industry. The foundation of this project was made possible through the support of the Malawi Communications and Regulatory Authority (MACRA), which provided broadcasting equipment to the Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences (MUBAS). This equipment enables the Journalism and Media Studies department to promote local content while offering practical learning opportunities for students and professionals.

MUBAS Commercial Limited (MCL) operates a dedicated Mining unit that serves as a hub for cutting-edge mining solutions, blending academic research with practical industry applications. As part of Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences' commercial arm, the unit brings scientific rigor and innovation to mineral exploration, mine development, and sustainable resource management across the region.

WoodTech is a specialized division of MUBAS Commercial Limited that bridges academic excellence with commercial craftsmanship in woodworking and furniture production. As part of the Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences' commercial enterprise, WoodTech combines traditional woodworking techniques with modern design principles to create high-quality, customized solutions for both functional and aesthetic applications. The unit serves as a center for innovation in furniture design and wood product development, leveraging the university's expertise in materials and construction technologies.
